UKC Spring Cluster
Welcome to a centralized resource for the 2024 United Kennel Club Spring Fling Cluster being held at the McLeod County Fair Grounds in Hutchinson Minnesota on May 4-5th, 2024.
This event is a UKC Total Dog Reginal Invitational. What does that mean?
From the UKC website, "A Total Dog displays equal parts Function, Temperament, and Structure. Total Dog is a way to showcase dogs who look and perform equally well. The UKC Total Dog philosophy places an emphasis on dogs who shine in multiple venues, such as displaying the gait appropriate for their breed type while in the show ring, and then using that superb construction to effortlessly run full speed in a Lure Coursing race. A sound, well-bred, well-adjusted dog can easily transition from the show ring to a performance event. They have the looks to excel as a proper specimen of their breed, while also having the brains and ability to perform athletically in a variety of sporting events. To earn a Total Dog award, dogs must qualify in both conformation and an eligible performance event on the same day." Additional information can be found by clicking HERE.
Any dog that earns a Total Dog designation at a qualifying event, such as this one, will be invited to the annual, National Total Dog Invitation. This competition is only open to qualifying teams and teams compete for a chance to win cash prizes- up to $10,000. More information about the Invitational can be found HERE.
Please note, if you have a question on a specific sport, you need to contact the listed club.

CSHS Pet Film Fest
This year, the event will be even bigger and better! Hosted at Schram Haus Brewery, we are bringing back all the favorites of this free community event and fundraiser; adoption events, pet competitions, family-friendly activities, food, and music, but also adding extra fun with a pet & local business market and... BEER! Better yet, Schram Haus Brewery is donating 10% of beer and food sales from the evening to CSHS!
But of course, the main attraction of the evening will be the screening of the Pet Films! See your beloved pet (resident or foster!) on the big screen by submitting a short clip of them doing something adorable, silly, or showing off its skills! You can even make your pet a star of the Film Fest by receiving the most votes for your video. 1 vote = $1 donation to CSHS, so not only could you and your pet walk away as winners of the night, but every vote you receive will directly support the work of CS
